The space agency is hosting a livestream at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 14 to share the findings gathered by a team it commissioned about a year ago to study unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP. If that term is unfamiliar to you, it's basically the new "UFO."

I should continue to emphasize that there's no reason to believe we'll get real, juicy evidence that aliens exist or anything like that in this broadcast. NASA set up the UAP team in summer of 2022 with the goal of studying these UAPs "from a scientific perspective" and "[creating] a roadmap for how to use data and the tools of science to move our understanding of UAP forward."
